Stay shinny, stay bright in fashion.

Dear fashion-Lovers

What could be better than a bright sunny day with rays voyaging from the yellow sun to us? When I think of the sun or the rays, I sense the colour, Yellow. It’s not my personal favorite but I go god smacked when I see yellow not just working but flowing effortlessly with combination of colours, prints or white chikan work.

By now you all would be familiar with the brand name of “Global Desi” and I am sure I will find it in your closet’s too. My skirt was, yes ofcourse is from a very reputed brand “Global Desi”. For those who already know and for those who don’t, “Global Desi” is an Indo Western brand by the very famous and creative fashion designer Anita Dongre who is also the whole sole creator of another famous brand “AND”, which is all about western wear.  This whole look is centered to the amazing elephant print skirt which came out to the markets last year dedicated to the elly lovers (Yes, these pictures are from last year, but this style will remain in forever, my friends! ). It was not only the skirt but almost everything with elly all over it. Such a beautiful concept and print, well it was almost impossible for me to not make it mine. I am a great fan of elephants, they are huge with huge ears and undoubtedly have huge hearts filled with love and nothing can stop you from loving them back. I bet a lot of you would have experienced what I am talking about.

Well, this blog is all about being astonished by youthful yellowness with navy blue elly print all over working in three layers with yellow on the top, grey in the middle and to finish it with the perfectness, yellow in the bottom. When I first saw the skirt at “global desi” store I was instantaneously attracted towards it by the little elly’s made on it. It went straight to my shopping bag. This skirt has two equal knee length splits on both sides making it more convenient on the overall movement, gives you more comfort and also adds an edge over the single split long skirts available. For me what I personally liked about this skirt was the length of it, being tall I do face a lot of problem by the length of the garments I try but this one, as you see in the pictures is amazing. I prefer wearing flats and this covered the length from my waist to my feet perfectly. I wore a basic white singlet with a black multi-way shrug that I bought a long time back from Pantaloons. This black shrug alone can be styled in five different ways, and for this look I kept it to the very basic.

I hope you all loved this simple look with elly print. See you again guys with another blog very soon. Till then …
